ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION — JULY 18, 2022 8 <br />Councilmember Holden said no extension. <br />Councilmember Radziej suggested September 15 as an acceptable date for a plan. <br />City Administrator Perrault reminded them the original date to have a plan was the middle of <br />July and no plan was submitted. <br />Councilmember Holden said the city should start ticketing them. <br />Councilmember Scott felt they should stick with the original date and ticket them. <br />Councilmember Holmes agreed that they should start to ticket them. <br />Mayor Grant also agreed and instructed staff to stick with the original plan to begin ticketing. <br />I. Council Tracker <br />City Administrator Perrault provided the Council with an update on the Council Tracker. After <br />discussion, all items were left on the tracker. <br />Mayor Grant requested additions to the tracker: trees on Highway 96 west of Highway 10, pond <br />maintenance at Indian Oaks, and green space preservation fund in place of a tree fund. <br />2. COUNCIL COMMENTS AND STAFF UPDATES <br />Councilmember Holmes said she met someone who works for the University of Minnesota who <br />helps cities write grants. She has his business card if they would like to contact him. <br />Councilmember Scott said a resident had approached him for the second time about the Met <br />Council water conservation program. <br />Mayor Grant said he had been contacted too, it sounds like the program involves intelligent <br />irrigation controllers. He asked staff to take another look into the program. <br />Councilmember Holden asked if a letter had been sent to MnDOT about cutting down trees on <br />Snelling Avenue. She wondered if the speed sign had been moved.
