Minutes of Regular Parks and Recreation Committee Meeting, September 23 <br /> • Page 2 <br /> Parks crews will build and install the hockey boards. Quotations re being <br /> secured for the treated lumber and hardware. <br /> North Snelling Park <br /> Wet weather has delayed the final grading and preparation for seeding the North <br /> Snelling park site. Due to the lateness in the season, the site will be <br /> dormant-seeded in late November. Signs of grass will not be visible until <br /> spring of 1987. <br /> Flower Garden Excellence <br /> The Committee viewed the video tape of the flower garden and landscaping <br /> contest. Bob Raddatz did the camera work; Don Messeriy prepared and furnished <br /> the narration. The video was enjoyed by all. <br /> Miscellaneous/New Business <br /> Mishek mentioned the need for a gift catalog as an additional resource for park <br /> capital improvements. Buckley stated a special effort will be made to produce <br /> a gift catalog for public consideration in 1987. <br /> Adjournment <br /> The meeting was adjourned at 8:40 p.m. <br /> • Subnitted by J.
