Inside <br />Arden Hills, MN . 55112-5734 <br />Arden Hills n otes • A ugust/september 2022 • 10 <br />City Hall moves back to Regular Hours <br />2022 Election: Candidate Profiles <br />State of the City Event on September 15 <br />Allocation of CARES and ARPA Funding <br />The annual Fall Clean-up Day will be held on Saturday, <br />October 1 at Recycling Technologies (formerly Green Lights <br />Recycling) located at 1525 99th Lane NE in Blaine. Arden <br />Hills residents (ID required) are able to drop off refuse and <br />electronics for a fee. A coupon to recycle two free items is <br />available below and on the City website at cityofardenhills. <br />org/1148/. Be sure to bring a form of ID that confirms your <br />residence in Arden Hills along with your coupon! <br />Ramsey County has partnered with Repowered to provide free <br />electronics recycling for residents; this is a separate service <br />from Clean-up Day. We recommend utilizing Repowered for <br />recycling any unwanted electronics and using the Clean-up Day <br />coupon to recycle other non-electronic items. Repowered is <br />located at 860 Vandalia Street in St. Paul. <br />Accepted Items: <br />• Electronics (TVs, computers, printers, etc.) <br />• Computer hard drives (for shredding) <br />• Appliances <br />• Tires <br />• Water softeners <br />• BBQ grills <br />• Batteries <br />• Fluorescent lamps <br />• Mattresses <br />• Lawnmowers* <br />• Snow blowers* <br />• Scrap metal <br />• Paper shredding <br />• Carpeting <br />• Vacuum cleaners <br />• Bicycles <br /> <br />Items NOT Accepted: <br />• No brush/yard waste <br />• No railroad ties <br />• No plastic, cardboard, Styrofoam, or wood <br />• No oversized items such as hot tubs, boats, or sheds <br />• No engines containing gasoline or oil <br />*If an item contains oil or gasoline, <br />it must be drained or it will not be <br />accepted. Used oil and gasoline can <br />be disposed at the Ramsey County <br />Household Hazardous Waste site at 5 <br />Empire Drive in Saint Paul. <br />Fall Clean-up Day is Saturday October 1st
