Public Works Director / City Engineer <br /> <br />SUBJECT: 2022 Bulk Road Salt Purchase – Ramsey County <br /> <br /> Budgeted Amount: Actual Amount: Funding Source: <br /> $35,000 $23,521.61 Salt and Sand Fund <br /> <br />Council Should Consider <br /> <br />Motions to approve, table, or deny the following: <br /> <br />• Invoice for bulk road salt purchased during January, February, March and early April <br />2022 for Arden Hills Public Works snow and ice control operations in the amount of <br />$22,350.57 <br /> <br />All items need a simple majority for action unless otherwise noted. <br /> <br />Background/Discussion <br /> <br />Arden Hills Public Works snow and ice control operations purchases salt at Ramsey County’s <br />Public Works facility. Attachment A is an invoice in the amount of $22,350.57 for bulk road salt <br />purchased during January, February, March and early April 2022 from Ramsey County. <br />Budget Impact <br /> <br />The 2022 Operating Budget includes funding in the amount of $35,000 for snow and ice control <br />under the Salt and Sand fund 101-43100-42246.
