APPROVAL OF AGENDA
MOTION: Councilmember Holden moved and Councilmember Radziei seconded a
motion to approve the meeting agenda as presented. The motion carried (5-0).
2. PUBLIC INQUIRIES/INFORMATIONAL
Mayor Grant explained a member of one of the City's committees was immune compromised
and has requested to attend meetings remotely. He stated he supported the City honoring this
request. The Council was in agreement.
Susan Johnson, 1220 Karth Lake Drive, stated she was a 42 year resident of the Karth Lake area
in Arden Hills. She reported she supported a request made to attend meetings remotely for people
who have medical problems. She indicated this was a much broader issue in terms of government
transparency and open government. She stated there were many reasons people could not attend
city meetings, such as a disability, lack of transportation, medical issues, etc. and being post-
COVID we can now do many things remotely. She encouraged the Council to provide open
government to the residents of Arden Hills by having all meetings, from the various committees to
Council work sessions, open to remote participation.
