CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />CONTRACT FOR THE COLLECTION OF RESIDENTIAL <br />RECYCLABLE MATERIALS <br />This Contract, is made and entered into this 23rd day of February, 2015, by and between the City of <br />Arden Hills, a Municipal Corporation under the laws of the State of Minnesota (hereinafter called the <br />"City") and Republic Services, Inc. a corporation under the laws of the State of Minnesota, having its <br />principal place of business at 9813 Flying Cloud Drive, Eden Prairie, MN 55347 (hereinafter called the <br />"Contractor"). <br />WITNESSETH <br />WHEREAS, the City requires the collection and proper management of recyclables within the <br />corporation limits of the City; and <br />WHEREAS, the Contractor is engaged in the business of collecting, processing, and marketing <br />recyclables; and <br />WHEREAS, the City released a request for proposals (RFP) for recyclables collection, <br />processing, and marketing services on September 10, 2014; and <br />WHEREAS, the Contractor (Republic Services) submitted a proposal in response to the City's <br />RFP on October 17, 2014; and <br />WHEREAS, the City desires to hire the services of the Contractor (Republic Services) and the <br />Contractor (Republic Services) desires to provide the services to the City; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS AGREED BY AND BETWEEN BOTH PARTIES: <br />That the Recycling Contact for Residential Recycling Services with Republic Services <br />(Contractor) outlines the requested services by the City and costs for these said services for eligible <br />Residential Dwelling Units (RDU) and Multi -Dwelling Units (MDU). <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MN <br />CONTRACT FOR THE COLLECTION OF RESIDENTIAL RECYCLABLE MATERIALS Page 1 <br />
