CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA 2023 BUDGET <br />Function: Public Safety Fund # 101 <br />Activity: Fire Activity # 42200 <br />Activity Scope <br />Fire protection for Arden Hills is provided by the Lake Johanna Fire Department on a contractual basis. Lake <br />Johanna Fire Department presently provides services to the cities of Arden Hills, Shoreview, and North Oaks. <br />Arden Hills pays a percentage of operating and capital costs based on a formula approved by the Lake Johanna <br />Fire Department and Arden Hills City Council. <br />Objectives <br />Continue contracting for fire protection services. <br />Issues <br />Continue to maintain service levels at a reasonable cost. <br />Budget Commentary <br />Arden Hills' portion of the Lake Johanna Fire Department operating budget increased 7.8%.
