'It <br />EN HILLS <br />MEMORANDUM <br />DATE: December 12, 2022 <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Councilmembers <br />Dave Perrault, City Administrator <br />FROM: Gayle Bauman, Finance Director <br />SUBJECT: 2023 Non -Union Employee Compensation Plan <br />Budgeted Amount: Actual Amount: <br />N/A N/A <br />Council Should Consider <br />Motion to approve, table or deny the following: <br />• 2023 non -union employee compensation plan. <br />All items need a simple majority for action unless otherwise noted. <br />Background <br />CONSENT ITEM — 7B <br />Funding Source: <br />N/A <br />Annually, the City Council evaluates its compensation plan and determines if a cost of living <br />adjustment (COLA) is appropriate. The 2023 budget was prepared with a 3.0% increase for non- <br />union employees and a 3.0% increase for I.O.U.E. union members. <br />The seasonal employee compensation plan has been reviewed by staff and adjustments have been <br />made, if necessary, to comply with minimum wage laws. <br />Attached for Council approval are the compensation plans for January 1, 2023, for non -union <br />employees as well as the proposed 2023 seasonal employee compensation plan. <br />Budget Impact <br />The rates have been reflected in the proposed 2023 budget. <br />Attachments <br />Attachment A: Proposed 2023 Non -Union Employee Compensation Plan <br />Attachment B: Proposed 2023 Seasonal Compensation Plan <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />
