City of Arden Hills Ordinance#336 Restrictions and Limitations of Water Use <br /> • Times during which the restrictions will apply. <br /> • Whether the use restrictions will be absolute or vary depending upon <br /> location or identification of property in relation to which water tower <br /> is being affected. <br /> • When the restrictions will be implemented and when they will <br /> terminate. <br /> B. Use of the municipal water in violation of the watering restriction will be <br /> the responsibility of the property owner living at the property, or if no <br /> owners of the premises reside therein, then by the adult person or persons <br /> in control of such property as tenants or managers for the owners. <br /> C. For each day a property is in violation of the watering restriction, a $20 <br /> per day fine will be assessed to residential properties and a $100 per day <br /> fine will be assessed for all commercial properties. The total of all fines <br /> will be added to the quarterly water bill for that property. Continued <br /> violation of the water restriction and/or non-payment of the fines imposed <br /> for violating the water restriction may be cause for discontinuance of <br /> water service. <br /> D. Residents and/or City staff may report violations to the Director of <br /> Operations and Maintenance. The Director of Operations and <br /> • Maintenance will visit the property, or direct other staff to visit the <br /> property, to confirm the violation is occurring. Upon confirmation of the <br /> violation, the visiting City staff person will leave a notice at the door <br /> indicating charges will begin the date of the visit and will cease only when <br /> the property owner telephones City Hall to confirm their compliance; or <br /> when the water restricting band has ended. <br /> Effective Date. This ordinance will take effect and be in force after its passage and official <br /> publication. <br /> Adoption Date.
