Public Works Director / City Engineer <br />SUBJECT: 2022 November/December Bulk Road Salt Purchase — Ramsey County <br />Budgeted Amount: Actual Amount: Funding Source: <br />$35,000 $40,826.34 Street Maintenance <br />Council Should Consider <br />Motions to approve, table, or deny the following: <br />• Invoice for bulk road salt purchased during November and December 2022 for Arden <br />Hills Public Works snow and ice control operations in the amount of $16,407.16. <br />Background/Discussion <br />Arden Hills Public Works snow and ice control operations purchases salt at Ramsey County's <br />Public Works facility. Attachment A is an invoice in the amount of $16,407.16 for bulk road salt <br />purchased during November and December 2022 from Ramsey County. <br />Budget Impact <br />The 2022 Operating Budget includes funding in the amount of $35,000 for snow and ice control <br />under the Salt and Sand fund 10 1 -43100-42246. <br />January through April 2022: $22,350.57 <br />Brine solution 2022: $2,068.61 <br />November and December 2022: $16,407.16 <br />Total: $40,826.34 <br />The total is $5,826.34 over the budgeted amount. <br />Attachments <br />Attachment A: Bulk Road Salt Invoice <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />
