Public Works Director / City Engineer <br />SUBJECT: Hazelnut Park Ecological Restoration Plan <br />Budgeted Amount: Actual Amount: Funding Source: <br />$0 $2,296 - 4,331 Park Development <br />Council Should Consider <br />Council should consider PTRC Member, Kerri Seemann's Ecological Restoration Plan for <br />Hazelnut Park. <br />Background/Discussion <br />This item was first brought to Council on December 19, 2022. Kerri presented background on <br />what is involved with Ecological Restoration, and through discussion, Council directed Kerri to <br />prepare a formal proposal and plan for discussion at the February 21, 2023 Work Session. <br />Kerri Seemann will be providing a presentation to discuss the proposal as seen in Attachment A. <br />The related cost options can be reviewed in Attachments B, C and D. <br />Budget Impact <br />The proposed project involves Public Works staff time to coordinate the purchase and <br />distribution of the plants along with supplying water to the water barrel for the first year.
