Public Works Director / City Engineer <br />SUBJECT: Metropolitan Council Grant Agreement Resolution — 2020 I/I Grant Program <br />Budgeted Amount: Actual Amount: Funding Source: <br />$N/A $N/A N/A <br />Council Should Consider <br />Motions to approve, table, or deny the following: <br />• Resolution 2023-013, approving the grant agreement between the Metropolitan Council <br />and the City of Arden Hills for 2021 and 2022 Sanitary Sewer Lining Projects. <br />Background/Discussion <br />In March 2021, the City applied to the MCES 2020 MCES Municipal Grant Program for <br />reimbursement of a percentage of the construction cost for the Sanitary Sewer Lining Project and <br />was notified of approval to participate in the program. <br />The next step in the Grant Program process is to submit final construction cost information along <br />with a resolution authorizing the City to enter into a Grant Agreement for the final reimbursement. <br />The City of Arden Hills has completed $476,507 of work eligible for funding, the estimated amount <br />of the grant proceeds is $129,004.
