2023 Sanitary Sewer Maintenance Plan <br />The 2023 sewer cleaning and televising will be located within the south west third of the city. Per the <br />sewer maintenance policy attachment, and guidelines provided by the LMC, below are the cleaning/ <br />televising intervals. <br />x VCP clean or televise every 3 years. Root cut with hydraulic attachment and proofer as needed. <br />Televising will be saved on the cities network drive and can determine if cleaning or root cutting <br />is needed within a VCP mainline. Any mainline cleaning data is saved in the field to the cities GIS <br />database through a mobile application. <br />x CIP and RCP will be televised and determined if hydraulic cleaning and or root cutting is needed. <br />x PVC and CIPP clean and spot televise every 5 years. Dead ends can be flushed using the tanker <br />to “quick dump”. This will be recorded as the mainline is “clean” up to 2 Line segments <br />downstream. <br />x The city is divided in 1/3 areas. For example- 2023 PW will complete the south west third of the <br />city. This cycles cleaning/ televising efforts on a 3-year cycle to clean all VCP (Category 2 sewer <br />mains). While working in the south west third, PW Staff also assess category 1 and 3 for cleaning <br />needs.
