Process <br />•Depending upon which park is selected, the following seeds and <br />plantings should be considered for the harvested areas: <br />•(Insert a list of native grasses and sedges here) <br />•Sugar maples, elderberry shrubs, dogwood, and hazelnut <br />•All of these were studied by the U of MN Extension program, “Cover It Up,” and found to <br />be useful in supplanting (no pun intended) buckthorn’s return <br />•Because of the goat’s discerning palate, goats avoid eating grasses <br />and certain trees (such as oaks) <br />•Additionally, if seeding is done, the action of the goat’s hooves will help etch <br />the seed into the soil as they graze
