<br />. <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 43 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION TO COMPLETE AND ADOPT A STORM WATER <br />MANAGEMENT PLAN CONSISTENT WITH THE RICE CREEK WATERSHED <br />DISTRICT SECOND GENERATION PLAN <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills' 1998 Comprehensive Plan update was submitted to <br />the Metropolitan Council for review; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Rice Creek Watershed District updated their water management plan in <br />1997, requiring all cities within the Watershed District to update their storm water <br />management plans by 1999; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has not adopted a storm water management plan to date; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council requires that the City complete and adopt a storm <br />water management plan to complete the review of the Comprehensive Plan; and <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City received requests for qualifications on November 17,2000 and will <br />request proposals from the most qualified firms; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council will choose to enter into a contract with the chosen firm by <br />their second regular meeting in February 2001; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council will adopt a storm water management plan as a result of <br />this process by no later than December 31,200 I; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council has asked that the City Council commit to a <br />process and a schedule for the completion of a water management plan so that the <br />Comprehensive Plan review may be completed. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arden <br />Hills, Minnesota that the City Council commits to adopting a water management plan by <br />no later than December 31 , 2001. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL <br />HILLS THIS 27th DAY OF NOVEMBER, 2000. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />o~ Ir(,. \";lllr::;/(!(.J <br />
