~ .- ~ . RESOLUTION NO. 72-57 RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING PERMIT REQUIREMENTS AND A SCHEDULE OF PERMIT FEES FOR CERTAIN ACTIVITIES IN THE VILLAGE OF ARDEN HILLS . WHEREAS, it is the Intention of the Council to regulate certain activities which are carried on for a limited time period, or are of a temporary nature, by permit instead of by license; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Village of Arden Hills as follows: Permit ReQui red Effective January 1,1973, the following list of activities will require permits: Outdoor pow-wows and pi cn i cs on Viii age property, art and craft shows and sales, flea markets, garage sales, Christmas tree sales, fireworks - purchase and display of, advertising distribution to private homes, newspaper coin operated locations, vending at public parks and beaches, courtesy benches and shelters, peddlers - door to door, roadside stands. Permit Fees Activity Fee Ice Cream Socials No fee Circuses and carnivals (per day) $100.00 Outdoor pow-wows and picnics on 10.00 refundable Village park property, if reserved area Art and craft shows and sales (per day) 5.00 Flea markets (per day) 5.00 Garage sales, private home No fee Christmas tree sales 15.00 Fireworks, purchase and display of No fee Advertising distribution to private 25.00 homes (not to include campaign literature) Newspaper coin operated locations No fee Newspapers distribution locations No fee Vending at public parks and beaches 5.00 (per day) Courtesy benches and shelters No fee Peddlers, door to door (such as 15.00 Avon, Fuller Bruch, etc. (per year) Casual Roadside stands No fee . Note: Apove fees may be waived for schools, churches, Boy Schouts, Girl Scouts and similar groups. Permit Application Application for a permit shal I be made to the Clerk Administrator. Such application shall state the full name and address of the applicant, a description of the activity for which the. permit Is requested, the proposed location of the activity, the date or dates for such activity and such other information as the Clerk Administrator may require for the purposes. The permit fee shal I accompany the permit application.
