Page 1 of 1 <br /> <br /> <br />STAFF COMMENTS – 6B <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> DATE: July 24 , 2023 <br /> <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Councilmembers <br /> Dave Perrault, City Administrator <br /> <br />FROM: Julie Hanson, Assistant to the City Administrator/City Clerk <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Night to Unite Update and Proclamation <br /> <br /> Budgeted Amount: Actual Amount: Funding Source: <br /> N/A N/A N/A <br /> Council Should Consider <br />Acknowledgement of the attached Proclamation supporting Night to Unite 2023. <br /> <br />Background/Discussion <br />Night to Unite will be held on Tuesday, August 1 from 5:00 to 9:00 pm. Staff provided information <br />regarding Night to Unite at the June 26 Council meeting. <br /> <br />While the formal registration deadline was Friday, July 14; interested parties may still register as <br />the Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office will try its best to accommodate, but cannot guarantee, a visit <br />by a deputy for late registrations. That said, events can expect a visit from other community <br />individuals. Please note that as of July 15, there were 19 registered events. <br /> <br />Staff will provide the City Council with a verbal update at the July 24 City Council meeting and <br />will also provide the list of event locations once received from the Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office. <br />This list will also be published on the City’s website. <br /> <br />Attached is a Proclamation provided by the RCSO regarding Arden Hills’ support of Night to Unite. <br /> <br />School supplies donations can be brought to a local neighborhood event or dropped off at City Hall <br />Mondays through Thursdays between 7:30 am and 5:00 pm or Fridays from 7:30 am to 11:30 am <br />until Friday, August 4. Items can also be dropped off at the Ramsey County Sheriff’s Patrol <br />Station, 1411 Paul Kirkwold Drive, between 8 am and 4:30 pm Monday, July 31 through Friday, <br />August 4. <br /> <br />Budget Impact <br />N/A <br /> <br />Attachments <br />Attachment A: Proclamation
