'I't <br /> -- QEEN HILLS <br /> CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2023-038 <br /> A RESOLUTION RECEIVING FEASIBILITY REPORT <br /> AND CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE <br /> 2024 PAVEMENT MANAGEMENT PROGRAM STREET AND UTILITIES <br /> IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 2023-011 of the Council adopted March 13, 2023, <br /> a report has been prepared by the City's Engineer, Bolton & Menk, dated July, 2023 with <br /> reference to the improvement of the following streets: <br /> • Royal Lane from Norma Avenue to Floral Drive West <br /> • Norma Avenue from Dawn Circle to Briarknoll Drive <br /> • Briarknoll Circle <br /> • Briarknoll Drive from Snelling Avenue North to Norma Avenue <br /> • Norma Avenue from Briarknoll Drive to Colleen Avenue <br /> • James Avenue from Indian Oaks Trail to Colleen Avenue <br /> • McClung Drive from Snelling Avenue North to Colleen Avenue <br /> • Colleen Avenue from McClung Drive to Hamline Avenue North <br /> • Colleen Circle <br /> • Royal Hills Drive from Snelling Avenue North to Arden View Drive <br /> • Arden Vista Court <br /> • Keithson Drive from County State Aid Highway(CSAH) 96 West to 800 feet south of CSAH 96 <br /> West <br /> WHEREAS, and this report was received by the Council on July 24, 2023; and <br /> WHEREAS,the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is <br /> necessary, cost effective, and feasible; whether it should best be made as proposed or in <br /> connection with some other improvement; the estimated cost of the improvement as <br /> recommended; and a description of the methodology used to calculate individual assessments <br /> for affected parcels. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ARDEN <br /> HILLSMINNESOTA: <br /> 1. The Council will consider the improvement of such streets in accordance with the <br /> reportand the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the <br /> improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429. <br /> 2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 14th day <br /> of August,2023, in the Council Chambers of the City Hall at 7:00 p.m. and the <br /> City Administratorshall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and <br /> improvement as required bylaw. <br />
