<br />. <br /> <br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA, HELD ON MAY 24,la71 <br /> <br />ing <br />was <br />May <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meet- <br />of the Village Counci I of the Vi i lage of Arden HIt'ls, Minnesota, <br />duly called and held at the Village Hall In said Village on <br />24, 1971, at 8:00 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: <br />Mayor Crepeau, Councilmen Olmen, Hollenhorst, Henderson and <br />Herrick, <br /> <br />and the following members were absent: none. <br /> <br />-. <br /> <br />Member Herrick introduced the fol lowing Resolution and <br />moved Its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 71-24 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CLERK ADMINISTRATOR <br />TO APPLY FOR CONVEYANCE OF CERTAIN TAX FORFEITED LANDS TO THE VILLAGE <br />OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA, FOR A PUBLIC PURPOSE, PARK AND RECREATION <br />SITES. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the below described lands are tax forfeited and <br />therefore available to the Village for certain public purposes, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council believes that said land is desirous <br />for Park and Recreation Sites, and, therefore, desires to acquire <br />sal d I and for sal d pub lie purposes, e <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL FOR THE <br />VILLAGE OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />I~ The Mayor and the Clerk Administrator are hereby <br />authorized to submit an application under Minnesota Statutes 282.01, <br />Sub. I, for a conveyance to the Village of Arden Hills of the <br />following described lands for use as parks and resreatlon sites: <br /> <br />Lot 10, Block 5, Arden Hi lis <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution <br />was duly seconded by Member Olmen, and upon a vote being held <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />All present, <br /> <br />and no one voted against the same. <br /> <br />WHEREUPON, the said Resolution was declared duly passed <br />and adopted. <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA) <br />) SS <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY ) <br /> <br />I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting <br />Clerk Administrator of the Village of Arden Hi lis, Minnesota, do <br />hereby certify that I have carefully compared the attached and <br />foregoing extract of minutes of a regular meeting of the Village <br />Council of the Village of Arden Hills, Minnesota, held on the 24th <br />day of May, 1971, with the original on file in my office, and the <br />same Is a full, true and complete transcript therefrom Insofar as <br />the same relates to a Resolution to acquire tax forfeited lands. <br /> <br />-. <br /> <br />WITNESS my hand as such Clerk Administrator and the <br />corporate seal of the Vii lage of Arden Hills, Minnesota this 24th <br />day of May, 1971. <br /> <br />Lorraine Stromquist <br />Clerk Administrator <br /> <br />( SEAL> <br />
