<br />. <br /> <br />VILLAGE OF ARDEN HILLS <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 71-21 <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED, by the Village 60unci I, That <br />the Vi I lage Forester shal I conduct an emergency inspection <br />of all trees ....hich remain in the Vi Ilage of Arden Hi lis, <br />which were marked as diseased ....ith oak wilt at the 1970 <br />oak wi It survey conducted by the University of Minnesota. <br /> <br />If after the emergency inspection as author- <br />ized by the provisions of Ordinance No. 102, the Forester <br />finds that the danger of the infestation of other trees <br />from a diseased tree or trees is imminent, he shall notify <br />the property owner by certified mail of the existence of <br />the nuisance and shal I further notify the property owner <br />that the nuisance must be abated within a specified time, <br />not less that 5 days from date of mai I ing such notice. <br />Such other and additional notice may be given the property <br />owner as appears reasonable and prudent to the Forester <br />under the circumstances as then existing. The Forester <br />shall immediately report such action to the Counci I, and <br />after exptration of the time set forth in the notice, he <br />may abate the nuisances by having the diseased trees cut <br />down and hauled away. <br /> <br />The costs incurred by the Vi I lage shal I be <br />assessed against the property on which the trees ....ere <br />removed, in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance <br />No. 102. <br /> <br />Approved by the Counci I of the Vi Ilage of Arden Hi lis <br />this 10 day of May , 1971. <br /> <br />Hen ry <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />.
