<br />. <br /> <br />VILLAGE OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 71-14 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING <br />PROCEDURE FOR NUMBERING <br />AND RECORD.ING RESOLUTIONS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council considers it desirable to provide <br /> <br />for the numbering and separate filing of certain formal ac- <br />tions of the Council designated as Resolutions, <br /> <br />NOW .THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows: <br /> <br />(1) The Clerk-Administrator is authorized and <br />directed to establish and maintain a sepa- <br />rate numbering and filing system for actions <br />designated by the Council as Resolutions, <br />which system shall be retroactive to January <br />1, 1971, with numbering to be divided by <br />years in the style such as "71-1," etc. <br /> <br />(2) "Resolutions" to be included in such filings <br />shall be Council actions distinguished from <br />ordinances or routine motions, typically actions <br />which are designated by the Council as Resolutions. <br />The Clerk-Administrator shall review the 1971 <br />Council minutes to-date and designate Resolutions <br />for this year, and thereafter such actions shall <br />be designated by the Council in the minutes. <br /> <br />(3) Hereafter it shall not be necessary to include <br />the Resolutions as identified herein in the <br />minutes of the Council, but reference to the <br />Resolution shall be by the number of the Resolution <br />and a separate record of such Resolutions shall be <br />maintained by the Clerk-Administrator as a part of <br />the Village records. <br /> <br />Passed by the Council th:Ls.tL 9, 1971. <br /> <br /> <br />Attest: <br /> <br />· ;I~6;;; . . . .~r <br /> <br />Lorraine E.
