The Summary Ordinance requires a 415 vote. <br />Background/Discussion <br />Earlier this evening, the required Public Hearing was held (Item 1 OC) regarding a moratorium on <br />the sales of adult use cannabis business in Arden Hills. Staff is requesting Council approval of <br />Ordinance 2023-010 establishing an interim ordinance prohibiting the operation of cannabis <br />businesses while the matter is studied, and approval that a summary ordinance of such be <br />published. The moratorium would be in effect until January 1, 2025, while staff and the Council <br />continue to further study the matter, or could end sooner per Council direction. <br />Budget Impact <br />N/A <br />Attachments <br />A.
