iii " STATE OF MINNESOTA COUNTY OF RAMSEY CITY OF k~EN HILLS RESOLUTION NO. 80-b-~ A Resolution Authorizing the Sale by Contract for Deed of Storage Building and Land on New Brighton Road to Lake Johanna Fire Department, Inc. . WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills no longer has a need to continue its ownership and possession of the storage building and land, hereinafter referred to as the "Property", which is located adjacent to the headquarters of the Lake Johanna Volunteer Fire Department, Inc., at 3246 New Brighton Road, Arden Hills, Minnesota, 55112, and, WHEREAS, the Lake Johanna Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. desires to acquire the Property for use in connection with its operations pursuant to the terms hereinafter set forth, NOW, THEREFORE, be it hereby resolved by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills that the Property be sold to the Lake Johanna Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. for $19,000.00, payable $4,000.00 in cash at the closing, and the balance by means of a Contract for Deed providing for payment of $5,000.00, together with interest, on or before June 30, 1981, and the remaining $10,000.00, together with interest, on or before June 30, 1982, interest to accrue at the "inter-fund transfer rate" of the City for the calendar year preceding the installment due dates in the Contract. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the form of Contract for Deed attached hereto and made a part hereof as Exhibit "A" be approved and be used by the City to effectuate the transaction with Lake Johanna Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the Clerk- Administrator be authorized to execute the Contract for Deed of which Exhibit "A" is a copy upon receipt from the Lake Johanna Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. of the sum of $4,000.00 in the form of a Cashier's or Certified Check.
