CHRISTOFFERSEN: Janet Estates includes the construction <br />of sanitary sewer, watermain, streets and drainage for the <br />Janet Estates development. <br /> <br />MAYOR CREPEAU: Mr. Peter Popovich will briefly explain <br />the financing. <br /> <br />MR. POPOVICH: This matter was 100 percent petitioned for. <br />There was no necessity for a feasibility hearing. It's 100, <br />percent assessed. The total cost is $119,591. There are some <br />15 lots involved. <br /> <br />The sanitary sewer comes out to $2,230 per lot7 water is <br />$1,450 per lot7 storm sewer $1,3437 and there areriine lots <br />of street at $4,913 per lot. <br /> <br />The assessment will be spread for 20 years at 8% with the <br />right of prepayment. <br /> <br />MRS. MC NIESH: There were no written communications. <br /> <br />Mayor Crepeau announced that the meeting was open for the <br /> <br /> <br />consideration of objections, if any, to the proposed assessment. <br /> <br />All persons present were then given the opportunity to present <br />oral objections. <br /> <br />No one appeared to be heard. <br />Mayor Crepeau closed the hearing and Councilman Wingert <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 79-43 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING AND CONFIRMING <br />ASSESSMENTS FOR IMPROVEMENT NO. SS-W-P-78-1 <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City council of the City of Arden <br /> <br />Hills, Minnesota, as follows: <br /> <br />1. The amount proper and necessary to be specially assessed <br />at this time for Improvement No. SS-W-P-78-l against every <br />assessable lot, piece or parcel of land affected thereby <br />has been duly calculated upon the basis of benefits, without <br />regard to cash valuation, in accordance with the provisions of <br />Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, as amended, and notice has <br />been duly mailed and published, as required by law, that this <br />Council would meet to hear, consider and pass upon all objec- <br />tions, if any, and said proposed assessment has at all times <br />since its filing been open for public inspection, and an oppor- <br />tunity has been given to all interested persons to present <br />
