. . . " 2 MR. CHRISTOFFERSEN: Janet Estates includes the construction of sanitary sewer, watermain, streets and drainage for the Janet Estates development. MAYOR CREPEAU: Mr. Peter Popovich will briefly explain the financing. MR. POPOVICH: This matter was 100 percent petitioned for. There was no necessity for a feasibility hearing. It's 100, percent assessed. The total cost is $119,591. There are some 15 lots involved. The sanitary sewer comes out to $2,230 per lot7 water is $1,450 per lot7 storm sewer $1,3437 and there areriine lots of street at $4,913 per lot. The assessment will be spread for 20 years at 8% with the right of prepayment. MRS. MC NIESH: There were no written communications. Mayor Crepeau announced that the meeting was open for the consideration of objections, if any, to the proposed assessment. All persons present were then given the opportunity to present oral objections. No one appeared to be heard. Mayor Crepeau closed the hearing and Councilman Wingert introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 79-43 RESOLUTION ADOPTING AND CONFIRMING ASSESSMENTS FOR IMPROVEMENT NO. SS-W-P-78-1 BE IT RESOLVED by the City council of the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota, as follows: 1. The amount proper and necessary to be specially assessed at this time for Improvement No. SS-W-P-78-l against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land affected thereby has been duly calculated upon the basis of benefits, without regard to cash valuation, in accordance with the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, as amended, and notice has been duly mailed and published, as required by law, that this Council would meet to hear, consider and pass upon all objec- tions, if any, and said proposed assessment has at all times since its filing been open for public inspection, and an oppor- tunity has been given to all interested persons to present
