Visualizing Housing Density at Rice Creek Commons <br />•At the June 2023 JDA meeting the commissioners discussed finding a way to demonstrate what different densities numbers look like in real life. <br />•Staff put together the slides to illustrate different densities using examples from neighborhoods in Arden Hills and other nearby communities. <br />•Note that these examples do not reflect the design standards or architecture expected at Rice Creek Commons –they are intended to show land use and scale of development. <br />•This presentation is modeled after the Met Council’s presentation on Land Use Illustrations.
