Ashbach was appointed Trustee of <br />the Village of Arden HI lis In 1953 and Mayor In 1954, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Ashbach was elected Mayor of Arden HI I Is <br />In 1955, 1957, 1959 and 1961, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Ashbach was elected State Representative <br />from the district Including Arden HI lis In 1962, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Ashbach was elected State Senator from <br />the district Including Arden Hills In 1964, 1968, 1972 and 1976, <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Ashbach has ably and conscIentiously <br />performed the duties of said public offices, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Arden HI lis has greatly benefitted from his <br />continued cIvic leadershIp; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council <br />of Arden HI lis does hereby, on behalf of Itself and the people <br />of Arden Hills, commend Robert O.
