<br />-. <br /> <br />-I <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 79.19 <br /> <br />~ '1 ~. ?2.-(. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE ARDEN HILLS <br />NEWSLETTER PUBLICATION COMMITTEE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Arden Association has been responsible <br />for a Village newspaper, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, they can no longer publish the newsletter, <br /> <br />and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills finds that a news- <br />letter promotes Village identity and cohesiveness and can <br />disseminate timely and detailed announcements of Village <br />actions and committees, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council wishes to continue the news- <br /> <br />letter, <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Arden <br />Hills hereby establishes a Newsletter Committee composed of <br />a chairman, four to seven members, and an editor, appointed <br />by the Mayor with Council concurrence after recommendation of <br />the Committee, and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Committee, through <br />its editor, will have sole responsibility, within the borders <br />of good taste and general public policy, for publishing a <br />newsletter and for its content, and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the chairman shall <br />submit summary minutes of Committee meetings to the Clerk <br />Administrator. <br /> <br />Passed by the Arden Hills City Council this 30th day <br />of April, 1979. <br /> <br /> <br />I' <br /> <br />Henry <br />Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />~JMte t/))~.L_ <br /> <br />Charlotte McNiesh <br />Clerk Administrator <br />
