<br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 82-19 <br /> <br />REQUESTING THE INSURANCE SERVICES OFFICE <br />TO CONDUCT A REGULAR INSPECTION OF THE LAKE JOHANNA VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPT. <br />PRIOR TO DECEMBER 31, 1983 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Cities of Arden Hills, North Oaks <br />and Shoreview have entered into a fire protection agree- <br />ment with the Lake Johanna Volunteer Fire Department and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this agreement specifies the terms, <br />conditions and standards of fire protection for our three <br />communities and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the three cities Involved expressed <br />approval and commendation for the, services performed <br />by the Lake Johanna Volunteer Fire Department and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the three cities are currently negotia- <br />ting a renewal for another five years of this fire protection <br />agreement and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 20 of said agreement provides for <br />an examination of the department. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Cities <br />of Arden Hills, North Oaks and Shorevlew request the Insur- <br />ance Services Office to conduct their regular inspection of <br />the department prior to December 31, 1983. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Inspection Is <br />considered by the cities as supportive to the Lake Johanna <br />Volunteer Fire Department and a reassurance to the residents <br />of quality fire protection and that this request Is within <br />the normal cycle of Inspections by the Insurance Services <br />Office. <br /> <br />Passed by the Arden HIli s City Counc II th Is 8th <br />day of March 1982. <br /> <br />Attest: <br /> <br />~~~ <br /> <br />bert L.
