<br />-. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />... <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-86 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION VACATING CERTI\IN ROADS LOCATED <br />IN THE PLAT OF SHADY OAKS ADDITION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Arden Hills CIty Council by Resolution <br />No. 81-72, adopted on October 13, 1981, Initiated a proceed- <br />ing under Section 412.851 of Minnesota Statutes, as amended, <br />to determine whether It would be in the public interest ~o <br />vacate certain roads In the plat of Shady Oaks Addition, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Clerk-Adm!nlstrator of the City of Arden <br />Hills pub.lshed In the New Brlqhton Bulletin on October 15 and <br />22, 1981 a Notice of Public Hearing on the aforesal d proposed <br />vacation and also caused copies of said Notice of Public Hear- <br />ing to ~ pos~ed for a period of at least two (2) weeks, com- <br />menclng~/.f, 1981, at the Arden Hills City Hall, the Ramsey <br />County Library, Arden Hills Branch, on County Road E-2, and on <br />the bulletin board at the concessIon stand In Tony Schmidt Park, <br />three of the most pubic places In the City of Arden Hills, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a publ Ie hearing before the City Councl I <br />was conducted on Monday, November 30, 1981 commencing at 8:55 <br />o'clock P.M., and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, no one appeared to oppose the proposed <br />vacatIon, and KURT LAUGHINGHOUSE, a representative of Derrick <br />Land Company, whIch proposes to develop ~he Shady Oaks Sub- <br />division, voiced his approval of the proposed vacation, <br /> <br />NOW, THERE FORE, BE I THEREBY RESOLVED by the City <br />Council of the City of Arden Hi lIs that It Is In the publiC <br />Interest of the City of Arden HI lis to vacate certain roads <br />located In the plat of Shady Oaks Addition, the legal.descrlp- <br />tlon of which Is as follows, to-wit: <br /> <br />All of Soo Place as dedicated in the plat of <br />Shady Oaks Addition; all that part of Wesley <br />Avenue as dedicated in the plat of Shady Oaks <br />Addition which lies northerly of the easterly <br />extension of the northerly line of Lot 4, <br />Block 2, Shady Oaks Addition and al I that part <br />of Lakevlew Avenue now known as North Pascal <br />Avenue as dedicated in the plat of Shady Oaks <br />Addl~lon which lies northerly of the follow- <br />Ing described line: <br /> <br />Beginning at the northeast corner of the <br />south 35 feet of Lot 5, Block 2, Shady Oaks <br />Addition; thence easterly along the easterly <br />extension of the north line of the south 35 feet <br />of said Lot 5 to the centerline of said Lake- <br />vIew Avenue; thence southerly along said <br />centerline to the Intersection with the westerly <br />extension of the north line of the south 33 feet <br />of Lot 4, Block 2, Shady Oaks AdditIon; thence <br />easterly'along the westerly extension of the <br />north lIne of the south 33 feet of said Lot 4 <br />to the west line of said Lot 4 and there <br />terminating. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the,Clerk-Admlnlstrator <br />is hereby authorized and directed to cause a certIfied copy <br /> <br />'"" <br />
