•Develop housing to attract families, even the <br />apartments by having less studios and 1-2 <br />bedroom units. <br />•Sustainability is very important. Not sure what is <br />should “look” like, except that there are options <br />for residents to be “green” in their use of <br />resources. <br />•I think the majority of the development should <br />be denser than Arden Hills is currently. A lot of <br />young people and downsizing Boomers don’t <br />require or even want large lots and houses to <br />maintain. They want convenient and walkability <br />and amenities. I would include lots of duplexes, <br />triplexes, twin homes, cottage courts, <br />townhouses, and small apartment buildings. <br />•Social infrastructure is important for community <br />and resiliency. Find mixed-use development <br />and public spaces.
