<br />r <br />i <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />---- <br /> <br />l'7-.j{;. <br /> <br />Extract of Minutes of Meeting <br />of City Council <br />City of Arden Hills <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota <br /> <br />Held: August 31, 1981 <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting <br /> <br />< <br />of the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota, was <br />duly held in the City Hall in said City on Monday, the 31st day <br />of August, 1981, at 8:00 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The fOllowing members were present: Mayor Woodburn and <br />Councilmen Johnson, McAllister, Hollenhorst and Wingert; and the <br />following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Also in attendance were Charlotte McNiesh, City Clerk Admin- <br />istrator and Donald Christoffersen of Short, Elliott, Hendrickson, <br /> <br />Inc., City Consulting Engineers. <br /> <br />The City Clerk Administrator presented an Affidavit showing <br /> <br />publication of notice of hearing on the proposed assessment for <br /> <br />Improvement No. SS-W-80-2 in the New Brighton Bulletin on August <br /> <br />13, 1981, which Affidavit was examined, found satisfactory, and <br /> <br /> <br />ordered placed on file. The Clerk Administrator also exhibited <br /> <br />a Certificate of Mailing Notice of Hearing to all affected <br /> <br />property owners. <br /> <br />Mr. Christoffersen explained that this improvement was for <br />the extension of sanitary sewer and water services to the three <br />lots included in the improvement (Kenna Addition) and that the <br />assessments for the three lots had been computed on a unit basis. <br /> <br />Mrs. McNiesh then explained that the assessments would be <br />payable in 15 installments, with an 8% carrying charge. The <br />first installment is payable in 1982 and the entire amount, or <br />at least 50% thereof, may be paid within 30 days from the date <br />of adoption of the assessment roll without interest. <br /> <br />There were no written communications. <br />
