<br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> <br />Resolution No. 81-31 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION COMMENDING CHARLIE CRICHTON <br />FOR HIS YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY <br />OF ARDEN HILLS, ACKNOWLEDGING RECEIPT <br />AND ACCEPTANCE OF HIS RESIGNATION AS <br />MAYOR, AND DECLARING THAT A VACANCY <br />EXISTS AS MAYOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Charlie Crichton has faithfully and <br />diligently served the City of Arden Hills for many years, <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Charlie Crichton has been very respon- <br /> <br />slve to the residents and business community, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Charlie Crichton ~8S worked to improve <br />the community by serving on the Finance,Commlttee from April <br /> <br />to December 1972, by serving as Councilman from January I, <br /> <br />1973 through December 31,1980 and by serving as Mayor from <br /> <br />January I, 1981 to the present, and <br />WHEREAS, Charlie Crichton has contributed Immeasur- <br />ably to the excellence of government In Arden HI lis, and <br />WHEREAS, a letter of resignation has been received <br /> <br />by the Arden Hills Council from Mayor Charlie Crichton, and <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has accepted said resig- <br /> <br />nation; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that a vacancy <br /> <br /> <br />exists on the, Arden HI lis Councl I for the office of Mayor <br /> <br />~. <br /> <br />Passed by the Arden Hills City Council this <br /> <br />1982. <br />I/~ <br /> <br />for the unexpired term, which Is until December 31, <br /> <br />day of May, 1981. <br /> <br />;f~)~ <br /> <br />Robert L.
