To view the final document, access adopted Resolutions via Arden Hills Public Laserfiche Weblink by visiting <br />cityofardenhills.org and clicking on Archived Documents under Helpful Links on our main webpage. <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2023-051 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DESIGNATING CERTAIN CITY-OWNED PROPERTY AS <br />“TRIANGLE PARK” <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills is the fee owner of that certain real property located <br />at 3151 Lake Johanna Boulevard, in the City of Arden Hills, County of Ramsey, State of <br />Minnesota, legally described as follows: <br /> <br />That part of the south 305.00 feet of the Southwest Quarter of Section 33, Township <br />30, Range 23, Ramsey County, Minnesota, lying northeasterly of the center line of <br />New Brighton Road; said center line running northwesterl y at an angle of 63 <br />degrees 37.5 minutes to the south line of said Southwest Quarter from a point 30.4 <br />feet west of the southeast corner of said Southwest Quarter of Section 33. <br /> <br /> PID 333023340013 (the “Property”); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Property consists of approximately 0.30 acres, is currently unimproved, <br />and has been used by the public as park/open space; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City wishes to add the Property to the City’s public parks system, which <br />includes 14 parks that cover nearly 102 acres to serve the City’s residents, businesses, and visitors. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills that: <br /> <br />1. The City-owned property located at 3151 Lake Johanna Boulevard, as further described <br />herein, shall be added to the City’s public parks and shall be known as “Triangle Park.” <br /> <br />2. Triangle Park shall be used as a “pocket park” or for other park and recreation purposes <br />as determined by the City. <br /> <br />3. Such park use shall continue until the City Council takes official action to change this <br />designation, and direct a different use of the Property. <br /> <br />4. City staff is directed to develop such plans and designs for future improvements and <br />maintenance of the Property for park purposes. <br /> <br />5. City staff is directed to create and install such signage on the Property as needed to <br />reflect this designation, and to take such other action as needed to update the City’s <br />official website and publications to reflect the same. <br />
