<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />~ <br />~R.!2~~J-IILLS <br /> <br />MEETING MINUTES <br />APPROVED <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOT A <br />SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />MONDAY, NOVEMBER 18, 2002, 7:00 P.M. <br />CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS, 1245 WEST HIGHWAY 96 <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Present: Mayor Dennis Probst, Councilmembers Aplikowski, Rem, Larson and <br />Gran t. <br /> <br />Also Present: City Administrator, Joe Lynch; Director of Operations and <br />Maintenance, Tom Moore; Director of Community Services, Aaron Parrish; <br />Accountant/Treasurcr, Terry Post; Recreation Program Supervisor, Michelle <br />Olson; Planner, Pcter Hellegers; and Personnel Director/Deputy Clerk; Cynthia <br />Young <br /> <br />MOTION: Councilmember Aplikowski made a motion and Councilmember <br />Grant seconded to call to ordcr the Special City Council Meet at 6:05 p.m. <br />(Motion Passed: 5-0). <br /> <br />1. Planning Case 02-31: Variance Request: Harrington <br /> <br />Planner Hcllegers explained that the applicant proposes a garage constructed five <br />foot variancc to the 0 I 0 foot requirement. PI anning and Zoning Commission <br />recommends approval, based upon the findings as found in the November 14, <br />2002 staff report. <br /> <br />Mayor Probst opened the Comment Portion of the Public Hearing at 6: 10 p.rn. <br /> <br />Mr. Hellegers presented two (2) lcttcrs of comments from Patricia Rodkewich and <br />Ann Poscr, along with a letter (attached) from Ernie and Melinda Hunt which <br />indicated they wcre not opposed to the City Council granting the variance. <br /> <br />Hearing no additional comments, Mayor Probst closed the Public Comment <br />portion of the hearing at 6: 12 p.rn. <br />
