<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ARDEN HILLS SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL - JANUARY 2,2001 <br /> <br />6 <br /> <br />Councilmember Aplikowski asked if a lot of the sump pumps are operating illegally. Mr. Post <br />stated the sump pumps identified have been followed up on. He noted this inspection program <br />provided an educational benefit for all of the residents. <br /> <br />Councilmember Aplikowski asked if the City will take further steps. Mr. Post stated nothing is <br />planned at the present time. <br /> <br />Mayor Probst stated he was surprised by the Walgreens proposal and wanted to assure traffic <br />issues on that corner are fully addressed. He noted this is a "gateway" location into Arden Hills <br />and he had understood the flower garden was on right-of-way but it appears that may not be the <br />case. <br /> <br />Mayor Probst reported the new City Hall construction is now above grade and encouraged staff <br />to address a move-in date prior to June 23, 2001. Mr. Probst stated a move-in date of June 15, <br />2001 had been mentioned. <br /> <br />Mr. Lynch advised of an LMC leadership conference for experienced City officials. <br /> <br />ADJOURN <br /> <br /> <br />Coun' ember Grant moved and Councilmember Aplikowski seconded a motion <br />to a '0 rn the meeting at 8:18 p.m. The motion carried unanimously (5-0). <br /> <br /> <br />NOTICE OF MEETINGS <br /> <br />The next regular City Council meeting will be held Monday, January 8, 2001 at 7:30 p.m. at the <br />Arden Hills Council chambers. <br />
