<br /> ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL SESSION MINUTES - DECEMBER 17,2001 3 <br />. ADMINISTRATOR COMMENTS <br /> a. Ramsev County Public Works Facility <br /> Ramsey County is interested in knowing if the City wants to participate in the pre-design <br /> decision for the new Public Works Facility. Council members expect the City to be <br /> actively involved. <br /> b. City Hall Use policy <br /> Mr. Lynch prepared a proposed building use policy including fees. We have indicated to <br /> interested parties that we will have a policy in place by January. <br /> Councilmember Larson suggested we elevate fees for-profit organizations to $50 and $75. <br /> Councilmember Grant asked why day and night charges are so different and also <br /> suggested the fees should be set according to the room size and facilities. <br /> Mayor Probst suggested we try the new building use policy, and can make changes in the <br /> future after a trial period. <br />. Mr. Moore will provide information from other cities on their building use policies. <br /> COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> Tentative retreat dates are January 25 and 26, and February 1, 2002. <br /> Mayor Probst discussed needing three new members for the Planning Commission. <br /> Mayor Probst stated he was impressed with the presentation regarding TCAAP and agreed that <br /> the City should begin actively pursuing the project. Mayor Probst suggested beginning work on <br /> the project by the end of January and possibly choosing a firm for implementation. <br /> ADJOURN <br /> MOTION: ember Grant moved and Councilmember Aplikowski seconded a motion <br /> the meeting at 9:41 p.m. The motion carried unanimously (5-0). <br />. <br />
