AH Planning
From: Annie->
Sent: Wednesday, December 6, 2023 1:27 PM
To: AH Planning
Subject: Fw: Don't forget the residents
You don't often get email from- Learn why this is important
Caution: This email originated outside our organization; please use caution
I originally sent this to council member Fabel. I have amended it somewhat to send it to your
committee.
Hello. Being a constituent I want to give my opinion about the TCAAP development. I have heard
you comment that'the vote proves that there is a mandate and referendum from the community to
provide maximum housing to help solve Ramsey County housing shortage' I think this sentiment is
way (falsely) over embellishing the meaning of'the slate's' successful election. More accurately I
think the elections were reflecting a'get it done' sentiment. Nowhere did you publicize an intent to
promote a population change of over 30% to our humble community. I oppose this huge number of
households being added to our community in one fell project, especially with Ramsey County having
their hand on the steering wheel. Their frequent incompetence is well documented and their agenda
is not reflective of community desires. I have great concerns about the numbers being bandied
about -too many households, too little space to IiveiJammed in tightly), loss of work opportunities to
name a few. I live off Hamline Ave which is already becoming a speedway. I dread the impact of the
thousands of new residents heading up to the development. I think an important measure is being
missed -what best serves the 'new community?
Please slow down and get it right.
Measure twice, cut once.
Don't consider our household your cash cow.
Ramsey County is proposing a 6.25% property tax increase to meet our current obligations.
Don't bite off more than you can chewlll
Ann Wandzel
1416 Indian Oaks Court
55112
