She noted this slowed traffic down and she felt it made it safer. <br /> <br />UNFINISHED AND NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />Adopt Resolution 95-44. Ordering The Pre>>aration of Plans and Specifications in the Matter <br />of Arden Manor Water Main Improvement Project. <br /> <br />City Administrator Fritsinger indicated at the last Council Meeting, this item was briefly reviewed. <br /> <br />Mr. Fritsinger indicated this Resolution is a result of discussion with representatives of Federal <br />Cartridge Corporation who will enter into a contract with Arden Manor to abandon their existing <br />wells and pay for them to connect to municipal water. <br /> <br />Mayor Probst inquired if there will be any cost to the City. Mr. Fritsinger indicated it was his <br />understanding that there will be no cost to the City. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Malone moved, and Keirn seconded a motion adopting Resolution 95-44, Ordering <br />the Preparation of Plans and Specifications in the Matter of the Arden Manor <br />Watermain Improvement ofl995. The motion carried unllnimously (4-0). <br /> <br />Adopt Resolution 95-45. Approving Charitable Gambling Premises Permit A,ppIication <br />Earthstar Project. Ine. <br /> <br />City Accountant Terry Post briefly reviewed the application. The City was informed by the <br />Gambling Control Board this spring that the Shoreview/ Arden Hills Lions Club had disbanded and <br />that their Class A gambling license and premises permits were, accordingly, revoked. The Lion's <br />Club had been conducting bingo operations at the Pot-O-Gold bingo hall and pull tabs at <br />McGuires/RlImllo:JlI Inn. <br /> <br />Mr. Post noted the Council has previously taken action in the form of adopting Resolution 95-32 <br />which approved a premise permit for the St Mary's Romanian Orthodox Church to conduct pull tab <br />operations at the McGuires!Rarnada site. <br /> <br />Mr. Post indicated the matter before the Council is to consider approving a premise permit to <br />Earthstar Project, Inc. to conduct bingo operations at the Pot-O-Gold facility. <br /> <br />Mr. Post provided a brief background of the application process. He noted Earthstar Project <br />formaIly initiated the application process by providing the City with an executed lease agreement <br />with the Bingo Hall, a completed Minnesota Lawful Gambling Premises Permit Application, and <br />payment ofa $100 Investigation fee on April 2, 1995. <br />
