<br /> . <br /> I. ,ARDEN lDLLS CITY COUNCIL - OCTOBER 10. 1995 5 <br /> I <br /> TCAAP Update <br /> I City Administrator Fritsinger indicated the plan proposed by Vento's Committee is very similar to <br /> the plan of the Arden Hills Task Force. <br /> I Mr. Fritsinger indicated there will be additional informational meetings for the public on Saturday, <br /> I October 14, 1995 and Monday, October 23,1995. <br /> Mr. Fritsinger indicated procedurally it is the City's goal to take the Vento plan to the Task Force <br /> I and attempt to come to an agreement with both the Task Force's plan and Vento's plan. He noted <br /> the City will keep in contact with Congressman Vento's Committee in regard to when it will present <br /> their information and plan for legislation. <br /> I Planning Case 95-05. Ogren POO <br /> I Community Development Director Ringwald briefly reviewed the request for approval of a Planned <br /> Unit Development (PUD) Master Plan, Final Plan (site plan) and Preliminary Plat for a 16 unit <br /> .e "Townhomes of Lake Valentine" project on a 6.51 acre parcel in the R-1 Single Family Residential <br /> Zoning District. <br /> Mr. Ringwald indicated subsequent to the Planning Commission review oftbis request on September <br /> I 6, 1995, the applicant has made some modifications to the plan. He noted these modifications are <br /> generally responsive to comments made during the Environmental Assessment Worksheet (EA W) <br /> I and/or Planning Commission review process. The primary modification that was made to the plan <br /> was in regard to the outlet of the sedimentation basin at the Southeast comer of the site. <br /> I Mr. Ringwald explained the plan that was reviewed by the Planning Commission on September 6, <br /> 1995 had a sedimentation basin which overflowed into a low area in the Northeast comer of the site <br /> and then outletted in Valentine Lake, via pipe underneath Old Highway 10. The modified plan <br /> I (dated 9-21-95) has a sedimentation basin in the Southeast comer of the site which outlets into <br /> Valentine Creek, via a pipe underneath County Road E2 and the Chatham Open Space (City <br /> property). <br /> . Mr. Ringwald outlined the conditions set by the Planning Commission and the responses of the <br /> applicant for the Council as follows: <br /> . 1. No oak tree or other hardwood trees be removed unless they are located in a <br /> building footprint or roadway area. <br /> . The Grading and Erosion Control Plan dated September 21, 1995 has been modified <br /> to identify the oak and other hardwood trees which are located in a building footprint <br /> .. or roadway area. <br /> I <br />
