<br /> I <br /> I <br /> ~ MINUTES <br /> CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA <br /> I SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> NOVEMBER 27, 1995 <br /> 7:00 P.M. - NEW BRIGHTON CITY HALL <br /> I <br /> I CALL TO ORDERlROLL CALL <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, Mayor Dennis Probst called to order the Special <br /> I City Council meeting at 7:20 p.m. <br /> Present: Mayor Dennis Probst; Councilmembers Beverly Aplikowski, Dale Hicks, <br /> I Paul Malone and Susan Keirn. <br /> Also present were: City Administrator, Brian Fritsinger; City Accountant, Terry Post; <br /> I Public Works Superintendent, Dwayne Stafford; Parks and Recreation Director, Cindy <br /> Walsh; Community Development Director, Kevin Ringwald; City Engineer, Greg <br /> Stonehouse; and Recording Secretary, Ruth McLaurin. <br /> III ADOPT AGENDA <br /> I MOTION: Keirn moved and Malone seconded a motion to adopt the agenda for the <br /> November 27, 1995 Special City Council meeting as presented. The motion <br /> I carried unanimously (5-0). <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> I Discuss Truth in Taxation Hearin!: Presentation Materials <br /> I City Accountant Post presented the Council with information that will be presented at the Truth <br /> in Taxation Hearing on November 30, 1995. <br /> . Mt, Post explained and reviewed each overhead that will be used during the Public Hearing. He <br /> requested the Council to comment and give direction in regard to the presentation. <br /> I Councilmember Malone suggested instead of using acronyms, words such as LGA or HACA be <br /> spelled out for the benefit of the residents. <br /> I Mayor Probst indicated the bar chart presented concerning the shift in tax capacity between <br /> ~ residential and commerciaJ/industrial property does not visually show the magnitude of the <br /> change. <br /> I <br />
