<br /> I <br /> I ,AlIDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL - NOVEMBER 27. 1995 <br /> " & <br /> COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> I Councilmember Hicks indicated the Public Works and Safety Committee did not feel the <br /> renaming of County Road F should fall into their jurisdiction and referred it to Council. He <br /> I noted no name has come forward as a clear suggestion. <br /> Councilmember Hicks wished to clarify the comments of the Public Works and Safety <br /> I Committee meeting minutes. He did not wish for the minutes to reflect that he was berating <br /> Staff, but was expressing a desire to explain that the process of notifying the Public in regard to <br /> I improvements is starting earlier this year in an effort make a more deliberate attempt to involve <br /> the community. <br /> I Councilmember Hicks indicated a conflict with attending the Planning Commission meeting on <br /> December 6, 1995. Councilmember Aplikowski indicated she would be happy to attend the <br /> meeting in his place. <br /> I Councilmember Malone noted he agreed with previous comments made by Councilmember <br /> Aplikowski in regard to the curve on County Road F. He noted perhaps reflector posts could be <br /> Ie added to improve safety. <br /> Councilmember Malone encouraged Staff and Council to help with the request of the parking <br /> I problem on Dellview Avenue. <br /> Councilmember Aplikowski indicated, in regard to the curve on County Road F, perhaps <br /> I reflector posts could be added, <br /> I Public Works Superintendent Stafford indicated he felt that also was a good option and would <br /> follow the direction of the Council. Mt. Fritsinger indicated Staff would work on this issue. <br /> I Councilmember Aplikowski also indicated she would like to see the suggestions for names for <br /> County Road F and perhaps the Council could review and suggest a change. <br /> I Councilmember Aplikowski expressed concem regarding the policies of Charitable Gaming, and <br /> trade area requirements in the City. She encouraged Staff to review the policies of this issue. <br /> Mt. Fritsinger noted the discussion continues in regard to the "trade area" definition. <br /> I Mayor Probst requested that Mt. Craig Wilson submit the information he has obtained in regard <br /> to renaming County Road F and the Council review and begin a process to rename that road. <br /> I Mayor Probst inquired about the Cleveland bridge, noting it had been reopened and questioned <br /> . the work that had been done. Mt. Stafford indicated he would be attending a meeting on <br /> Thursday, November 30 and would update the Council with any information he obtains. <br /> I <br />
