Ms. Wirkus
explained that if a school does not have the funding available
for these types of programs, their organization would provide
the service through a "grant" to cover a portion of the fee,
however, the actual costs are shown as an expense.

Councilmember Aplikowski commented that she spoke to some of
the principals in our area, and they are very enthusiastic
about this program.

Discussion followed regarding the concern of this type of
spending being in compliance with the 50% trade area spending.
Council concurred that it is acceptable under the trade area
spending requirement.

MOTION:

Hicks moved, seconded by Aplikowski to approve Resolution
#94-08, permitting a charitable gambling premises permit
to Climb, Inc. to conduct business at Big Ten Supper
Club, 4703 N. Staff should copy this
letter to the Gambling Control Board. Motion carried (5-0).

CASE #94-02.
