Mayor Sather stated he is certain <br />there would be new enthusiasm and energy with some <br />positive changes. He further commented that these <br />committee members might not be utilizing their <br />talents to the best of their ability in their <br />current committee. <br /> <br />Councilmember Aplikowski commented that various <br />committees will be meeting in January before the <br />worksession and the timing is off to suggest <br />changes at this time. <br /> <br />Councilmember Probst commented that Council is not <br />dictating which committee a member should serve <br />on, however, members should take a proactive <br />approach to view all aspects of the city. <br /> <br />Mayor Sather recommended that liaison appointments <br />to various City committees and commissions, as <br />well as, committee appointments, should remain the <br />same as in 1993 until a further review is <br />conducted. <br /> <br />MOTJ:ON: <br /> <br />Malone moved, seconded by Hicks, to approve and <br />ratify that all Council Committee Liaisons, <br />Chairpersons and Representatives for 1994 remain <br />the same as in 1993. Motion carried unanimously <br />(5-0). <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATOR COMMENTS <br /> <br />Administrator Person informed the Council that the <br />warming houses are open, and outlined the hours of <br />operations and conditions in which the warming <br />houses would close. <br /> <br />She further noted that the League of Minnesota <br />cities conference is scheduled for March 12 - 15, <br />1994. <br /> <br />ADJOURN <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Probst moved, seconded by Hicks, to adjourn the <br />meeting at 5:20 p.m. Motion carried unanimously <br />(5-0). <br />
