Fritsinger stated the fee was non-refundable as <br />there were fees associated with administrative <br />procedures. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Malone moved, seconded by Hicks EO approve <br />Case #94-01, United Properties, Site Plan <br />Review. Motion carried unanimously (4-0). <br /> <br />REJECT ALL BIDS ON THE 1991 CHEVROLET S10 PICKUP <br /> <br />Public Works Superintendent Winkel stated the City had <br />advertised this unit for sale on two different occasions. <br />The first bid opening had only one bid and it was below <br />the minimum selling price. The second bid opening had <br />two bids and they too were below the minimum selling <br />price. <br /> <br />Staff confirmed the trade-in value of this unit was <br />approximately $7,100, and the average retail price was <br />$9,000. Staff requested that all bids be rejected and <br />Council direct staff to re-advertise the sale of this <br />uni t. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hicks asked how many miles were on the <br />unit. Winkel stated 30,000 miles. Winkel further noted <br />that typically between 40,000-50,000 miles are put on a <br />unit at the time of replacement. ~his unit was driven <br />primarily by the Public Works Superintendent. <br />Acting Mayor Probst commented that even though he <br />understood that this unit was due to be replaced based on <br />the Capital Improvement plan, a review should be made to <br />determine if it was appropriate to replace the unit. <br />Appropriate adjustments could be made based on the low <br />mileage and the value of the unit. <br /> <br />Administrator Person noted that a policy would be <br />developed to review the replacement procedures within the <br />Capital Improvement plan. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Malone moved, seconded by Hicks to reject all bids <br />received for the 1991 Chevrolet S10 Pickup and <br />authorize staff to re-advertise the sale of the <br />unit.
