CALL TO ORDERlROLL CALL <br /> . Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, Mayor Dennis Probst called to order the <br /> regular City Council meeting at 7 :33 p.m. <br /> . Present: Mayor Dennis Probst; Councilmembers Beverly Aplikowski, Paul <br /> Malone, and Councilmember-elect Susan Keirn. <br /> . Councilmember Dale Hicks was absent. <br /> . Also present were: Acting City Clerk Administrator/City Accountant, Terry Post; <br /> Public Works Superintendent, Dan Wmkel; and Recording Secretary, Ruth <br /> Mclaurin. <br /> . COUNCIL APPOINTMENT <br /> I RESOLUTION #94-61 DEClARING VACANCY IN THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> . A resolution declaring a vacancy in the City Council seat held by Councilmember Dennis <br /> Probst was read by Acting Mayor Aplikowsld. <br /> . MOTION: Malone moved and Aplikowsld seconded a motion to approve Resolution <br /> #94-61; accepting the resignation of Councilmember Dennis Probst and <br /> . declaring a vacancy in the office of Councilmember. The motion carried <br /> unanimously. (2-0).. <br /> . RESOLUTION #94-62 APPOINTMENT OF MAYOR <br /> . A resolution relating to the appointment of Dennis Probst as Mayor of the City of Arden <br /> Hills was read by Acting Mayor Aplikowsld. <br /> . MOTION: Malone moved and Aplikowski seconded a motion to approve Resolution <br /> #94-62; appointing Dennis Probst to fill the vacancy in the Office of <br /> .- Mayor for the City of Arden Hills until such office is filled in January, <br /> . <br />
