<br /> . <br /> >,..~-,.., <br /> .' <br /> MINUTES OF CITY ELECTION <br /> CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> NOVEMBER 8, 1988 <br /> - At the City Election of the City of Arden Hills, County of Ramsey, State <br /> of Minnesota, held at the City of Arden Hills, Precinct 1, Precinct 2. <br /> Precinct 3, Precinct 4 being the places it was directed to be held by the <br /> City Council, after giving due notice thereof as provided by law, on the <br /> 8th day of November,1988. the Election Boards, being qualified voters of <br /> said City to act as judges of such election, each of whom had before such <br /> time been designated and appointed by the City Council to act as judges of <br /> such election, each of whom duly took and subscribed an oath to faithfully <br /> discharge the duties required of them at such election: and the said <br /> judges being duly qualified and trained forthwith opened the polls by <br /> proclamation, and the election proceeded by ballot without adjournment or <br /> intermission until closed. <br /> The subjects voted on at such election, as stated in the Notice, thereof, <br /> were: <br /> To Elect two Council members for terms of four years. <br /> To Elect one Council member for an unexpired term. <br /> . At 8:00 p.m. of said day the polls were closed. The judges then proceeded <br /> to publicly count and canvass the votes, and a true statement thereof was <br /> duly proclaimed to the voters by the Clerk Administrator who recorded the <br /> same in the City Minute Book. <br /> STATEMENT OF RESULTS OF CANVASS <br /> The following is a true statement of the result of the counting and <br /> canvass of votes by ballot at the City Election of the City of Arden <br /> Hills, County of Ramsey and State of Minnesota, held Tuesday, November <br /> 8th, 1988 as proclaimed to the voters by the Election Judges: <br /> Thomas R. Sather received 2,953 votes for Councilmember <br /> Paul L. Malone received 2,822 votes for Councilmember <br /> Write Ins received 40 votes for Councilmember <br /> Thomas R. Sather and Paul Malone were declared elected Councilmembers. <br /> JoAnn Growe received 2,635 votes for Councilmember unexpired term <br /> Gary M. Perk received 932 votes for Councilmember unexpired term <br /> Raymond V. McGraw received 645 votes for Councilmember unexpired term <br /> Write Ins received 27 votes for Councilmember unexpired term <br /> .
