<br />Minutes of the Arden Hills Regular Council Meeting, September 12, 1988 <br />Page 8 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />RENDERING PLANT <br />REPORT <br /> <br />Clerk Administrator Berger reported on the meeting <br />with Attorney Lynden and Inspector McGinley relative to <br />the rendering plant. <br /> <br />Berger stated there was discussion regarding what progress McGinley has made and <br />other options the cities can pursue, othar than inspections, to bring the plant <br />into compliance. He advised they had discussed working with State Senators, State ... <br />Legislators and use of the media; also discussed was joint legal actions using <br />existing environmental laws. <br /> <br />Council questioned shutting the plant down or pursuing the matter under the <br />Nuisance Ordinance. <br /> <br />No action was taken. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Hansen moved, seconded by Peck, that the meeting be <br />adjourned at 11:45 p.m. Motion carried unanimously.
