Mayor Woodburn reviewed with Council the 1988 <br />Committee/Commission appointments. After diacussion. the <br />following was determined, as recommended by the Mayor : <br /> <br />PlanninK Commiasion Councilmember Hansen, suggested Barbara Piotrowski and <br />Jean Lemberg be moved up from Board of Appeals to <br />Planning Commission. Those. other than existing members, expressing interest in <br />serving on the commission: Vince Linders. Dennis Probst. Ray McGraw and Dan <br />Ashbach. <br /> <br />Council concurred to appoint the following persons to Planning Commission: <br /> <br />Robert Curtis. Chair <br />Peter Martin <br />Calvin Meury, Jr.. Vice-Chair <br />Scott Petersen . <br />Richard Savage <br /> <br />Dorothy Zehm <br />Gary Thorn <br />Paul Malone <br />Ray McGraw (if interested) <br />Dennis Probst (Alt. 1) <br /> <br />One alternate position to remain vacant and considered for appointment at a later <br />date. <br /> <br />Human RiKhts Commission <br /> <br />Chairperaon to be selected by members; Council concurred to appoint the following <br />persona: <br /> <br />Tim Byrne <br />Shirley Chase <br />Patricia Fish <br />Barb Younoszai <br /> <br />JaDe Deen <br />Roy Conroe <br />Ms. RalDSnik Shah <br />Howard Myers <br /> <br />Two vacancies exist. <br /> <br />Cable Communications Commission <br /> <br />Council discussed the poasibility of disbanding Committee; suggested <br />.Councilmember Sather discuss this with Committee, and/or holding meetings on a <br />quarterly basis. <br /> <br />Council concurred to appoint the following persons: <br /> <br />William Bauer (Chair) <br />Rolf Baglien <br />Tim Byrne <br /> <br />Joellen"Johnson <br />Peter Martin <br />Elaine McGillivray <br /> <br />Parks & Recreation Committee <br /> <br />Persons expreasing intareat in serving on this committee; Dorothy McClung. Mike <br />Kreidler. Rich Wilson. Rick Hanson. Judy Franke.
