LexinRton Avenue BridRe: HnDOT has advised that the southeast ramp,
Lexington and 694, will be closed far ten days; and, that the
northeast ramp will be closed (around May 18 or 19) after the
southeast ramp is re-opened. Signs to this effect have been posted
and detour routes set.
2. 1-35 Construction: HnDOT will be working on 1-35 this summer.
Attached for your information is an excerpt of their proposed
construction timetable. Mayor Woodburn and I
have followed up on this, and have spoken with the investigative
officers, Commander Bergeron and Attorney Filla about this matter. As
it is still under investigation, all parties involved have requested
all details and information on this be kept confidential. The Hayor
and/or I would be happy to discuss this with you further - on the
phone or before the meeting. Although Council had not
specifically authorized Crystal, the parking problem was significant.
Dellview now has the same problem.
Bob and I would like to recommend that the Council give approval to
post any street within this general area. We could then proceed with
posting as the situations emerge. We will need to order additional
signs. (Costs for the first 25 signs and posts was $408.81.)
5.
