Miller <br /> August 6, 1987 <br /> PRESENT: John Carroll, Orlyn Miller <br /> 1. Reviewed site and preliminary grading plan for proposed excavation <br /> and fi 11 i ng. <br /> 2. Carroll stated Suburban Engineering is pursuing RCWD approval. <br /> Intention is to balance excavation and filling so water storage <br /> area will remain unchanged. <br /> 3. No setback variances are required. A Special Use Permit for <br /> . excavation and filling will be required. <br /> 4. Proposed grading will el iminate numerous cottonwood trees along <br /> pond edge. May be cause of neighborhood opposition. <br /> 5. I told Carroll the primary City concern will relate to water <br /> storage capacity and drainage flow. Directed that his engineer <br /> coordinate directly with City Engineer (Barry Peters/484-0272) in <br /> preparing grading plans. <br /> 6. I informed Carroll that he will have to make submission for a <br /> Special Use Permit, including the following information: <br /> (a) Ownership report (list of owners within 350 feet of property). <br /> (b) A legal description, plat, or survey of property to be altered. <br /> (c) A statement of purpose for the filling or excavation. <br /> (d) A plan identifying the areas of the site to be altered, the <br /> estimated quantity of material to be moved, the degree of <br /> grade adjustment, the proposed finished grade, the existing <br /> and proposed drainage pattern, and proposed erosion control <br /> measu res. A complete grading plan will be required. <br /> (e) A list of local streets to be used to transport the materials. <br /> (f) Drainage and storm water storage calculations. <br /> cc: Barry Peters /' <br /> .
